Homemade Pancake Mix

Homemade Pancake Mix

12 c. flour
4 c. dry powered milk
3/4 c. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. salt

When you are ready to make pancakes~use the following recipe.
1 1/2 c. dry mix
1 c. water
1 egg, beaten
2 T. oil

* I write the recipe on the outside of my container. The dry mix can be stored in the pantry.
This makes wonderful pancakes and waffles.

This is similar to the recipe I use in our 5th wheel when we go camping. I premix the dry ingredents in a large zip lock bag. One bag for each meal we will eat them. Then at meal time, I mix in the wet ingredents and reclose the bag. Squish it around to mix it up. Then you can either snip a corner of the bag to make your pancakes or (if your like me & wash and reuse your baggies) use a measuring cup to get it out.
