Tis The Season For The Sickies~ Homemade Disinfectant Recipe

In our area they say the flu peaked last month but I couldn't help but notice many getting sick. So~ this morning I whipped up some homemade germ control.

2 Tbsp. ammonia
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
1/4 vinegar

Put ammonia, alcohol and vinegar in a spray bottle and fill with water to spray away the germs. Stay well my friends.

Hi Carrie,

That one I may try.. always have a box of disinfecting wipes sitting on the counter which gets pricey too. Just talked to Ash, told her that I thought you were working on starting an orchard or maybe a pumpkin patch.. something like that from some of the posts on your blog? maybe? She said she was trying to get you to do a tea room or something since you're such a good cook. I must say I have to hand it to you on the chickens..don't know if I could handle those messy little things.. but I do remember going to get fresh farm eggs with my grandfather when I was a little girl..I know there is a difference. Anyway, long enough comment.. thanks so much for the comments on my blog, still learning it all.. yours looks great too! How long have you been blogging?

Hi Carrie, It has been awhile since leaving a comment. Do always read your posts and enjoy them so much.

Question on this homemade germ control, do you just spray it on and let it air dry or do you whip it off again?

Joyfully,
Cheryl
