I did the pretzel rods, too! Both in chocolate bark, and vanilla bark.. I did 3 different fudge recipes, almond roca candy, honey glazed nuts, chex mix coated with melted almond bark, and 3 types of holiday cookies.. will do a choocolate jelly roll with peppermint flavored cream filling, and sprinkling of holiday sparkles on the top after it's rolled out, and ready to cut... Love to bake, but I don't eat sweets, so they end up as gifts or for friends or family! Your photos were lovely, sister!!

Hi Carrie!
40 weeks today and I'm still here! Today I made tomato sauce using tomatoes and Italian garlic from our garden. We have just enjoyed it with delicious gourmet, pumpkin and basil fettucine. There are also two large bottles of sauce in the fridge for the family to enjoy with barbecues over Christmas! Have seen the blizzards affecting the USA on our tv news tonight. We are enjoying more pleasant temperatures today after the heat of the past few weeks!
If the baby does not arrive in the next few days I will do some Christmas baking - I have a recipe from a magazine for white chocolate truffles and 'lamingtons' a type of sponge slice covered in cream and rolled in coconut - a real Aussie treat and they look wonderful - If I cannot make them I will delegate this task to my daughter! Hopefully, I will be in touch soon with good news!

Thanks for the recipes and the Christmas inspirations you've shared; it's been fun reading what you are up to and seeing the work of your hands. I hope to finish my baking today while my family shops. Have a very special Christmas, friend.

Wow everything looks wonderful. I can imagine your house smells fabulous. I will look up the candy apple jelly with my gluten allergy I do not bake many cookies around Christmas anymore. But probably for the best that way I am not eating to many Christmas cookies lol! ~Merry Christmas and Happy Baking ~Blessings Heather
