Overnight Yeast Rolls~




OVERNIGHT YEAST ROLLS



2 pkg. yeast
2 1/2 c. warm water
3/4 c. melted shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
8 to 8 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. salt

Soften yeast in warm water. Add shortening, sugar, eggs, 4 cups flour and salt. Stir in remaining flour. This will be a soft dough. Cover and refrigerate overnight or until needed. This will keep several days. Shape into rolls or loaf and let rise in warm place until double.Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes.

This made great hamburger buns! And, so many.... I have the last of them rising for tomorrow. Thank you so very much! I am going to tape this recipe inside the cabinet so it can make a regular appearance in our home!
