What A Strange Day~

Our happy Visitors~ it is hard to find a pond around here that has not dried up.
 Please pray for rain~snow. We need it so badly. Our pond is down at least 6 feet or more.

Yesterday,  we set a record temperature of 72 degrees. Normally in Missouri at the end of January it is freezing cold and snowing and blowing~ but not yesterday.

I am not complaining. It was wonderful to get outdoors and hose down all the winter dirt and grime.

This little guy even came out of hibernation for the day. I scolded him and told him to head back where he came from~ with a warming it is way too soon to be waking up. He was a little sluggish until I accidentally sprayed him with the hose. I dried him off as I was giving him the scolding.

Then towards afternoon my backyard was covered in robins~ it seemed like a sea of them. No kidding! I bet there were at least a hundred or so. They were singing such a sweet little song~ felt like Spring. I am just sure they are confused~ or maybe just passing through~ "It is way too soon!"

At four o'clock this morning I woke up to thunder and lightning. This Missouri girl had to get up and seize the moment. I love the sound of a spring storm. I walked outside and breathed in the spring like air and watched the lightning dance across the sky. All the while telling the sky~ "It is way too soon." But I sure enjoyed it!

HERE IS OUR FORECAST FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW~ I told you, "It is way too soon!"

Song of Solomon 2:11-13

 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Wow a fuzzy wuzzy out in the winter, surely he is confused!

We got some much needed snow last night (2-3 inches). The sun is already working on melting it all though! Seems lots of the US is in need of more moisture. Last winter we had a drought, hoping this winter won't be the same.

Have a beautiful day!

It is 68 in good ole KY today! We are much like you totally unseasonal weather.. I am glad you got some rain and hopefully the rain and snow will help with the water in your pond. The pic of the clouds is amazing...It is like a message from God...Love how God shouts out his love through His creation...Have a great one! Blessings!

Hi, this is Lisa from Savannah, It was gorgeous yesterday, I even noticed the robins singing and Jamie said he heard spring peepers. I hope all of them made it back to protection before today.
