Easy ~ Chicken And Wild Rice Soup



This recipe is so yummy~


2 quarts of chicken stock
1 cooked chicken~ cool and remove meat 
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup carrots~sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 package Uncle Ben's Wild Rice Mix

* Cook rice according to directions on the box.
*Bring chicken broth to a boil, add carrots celery and onions until cooked.
* Add cooked chicken and wild rice~add salt and pepper to taste.

*Make a rue.

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
1/2 cup half and half
*Add kosher salt and pepper to taste .
* Add rue to soup mix.

So after I just finished commenting on the fudge....I see this post. LOL...I sure will be trying this...might make my fudge indulgence less "guilt ridden"...afterall, calories might not count if I make this delicious and healthy looking Fall soup.
