It Only Takes A Touch

Morning Friends~
It's gonna be a beautiful day here in Missouri. I am off today to get ready for a Garage Sale. But before I get started on my long list of things to get done today, I am taking a moment to sip some coffee and just touch the hem of my Saviour's garment. It is amazing what just a touch can do to a girl's heart.

Mark 5:28

For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
In the passage above we read of a woman who in desperation is willing to go to great lengths to just get close enough to touch the garments that Jesus was wearing. She probably had exhausted all her resources~ tried filling the emptiness in her life. Yet~ she had heard of a man who had performed miracles and made people whole. She knew enough about Jesus to know that He was strong enough to heal her suffering and mend her brokenness. She knew if she could just get close enough to touch Him that she could be made new and whole.

Her little leap of faith turned out to actually be her greatest act of faith. He mended her broken life and she went away a new woman~ in every sense of the word.

When I was a young girl I too touched the hem of His garment and He made me whole and I have never been the same. It only takes a touch.

I am so happy that I know Jesus. I don't know what people do who don't have Him in their life. I am so thankful that He brought you and I together as friends :)!

Hi Sweet Carrie,
I've been thinking of you alot with ALL ALL ALL that you have going on in your lives. You are in my prayers and I'm hoping that things are beginning somewhat to get to a normal (whatever normal is!!!!!)
If you are undertaking a garage sale after just moving, I appauld you! :) We just finished a 6 month refinishing of our basement and I AM EXHAUSTED! Still moving back in and I'm so lazy and worn out, anything that isn't coming inside is going curbside! HA!
I would love to catch up and touch base....I'll hit up your email soon if it hasn't changed and we can chat! I can't wait to catch up on our kiddos and babies!
Blessings, hugs, and love,
Tanya

Just checking in on your blog. You are always an encouragement to me. First-many years ago with home schooling and continuing with home making. Your home is always beautiful. You give me inspiration!
Blessings!
