New Year's Eve Open House~Welcome

The Christmas decorations have been replaced with Winter snowflakes and the greenery has been decorated with Valentine decorations. I hate to see Christmas go ~so I always find a reason to keep celebrating. I just have to keep some twinkly lights up for the dreary months of Winter still to come.

I am so glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy your visit!

It has been a good year~we are blessed. I am excited to welcome in 2011. I just can't wait to see what God has in store for the new year.  May God bless you and yours in the coming year!

I love keeping my white lights up for the winter. We have many dark, rainy days, so it keeps things brighter on the inside. I also leave my snowman collection around too.

May you and your family have a Blessed New Year, Carrie!

Carrie - your home is absolutely beautiful. So cheery and inviting. One of these days I'd LOVE to drive up there and visit you. What fun we would have over steaming cups of hot chocolate!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your life and the love of Jesus with us. Thank you for your inspiring posts, and for the lovely comments you have left for me. They are a blessing to me.

My prayer for your family is that God will keep His hand of protection and mercy upon you. That He will make your crooked places straight. And that He will anoint you, afresh and anew, with His strength and His authority.

Blessings my friend! Love, Robbin

I love how you've been able to keep the twinkling going at your house, even once Christmas is over. Valentine's Day decorations -- brilliant! So glad I stopped by. Happy New Year.

Happy New Year Carrie!
The decorations stay up at my home until '12Th night'. I always say Christmas is a season not just a day - I know some just want it all over but not me! Love the pictures of your home from above - I'm guessing that was taken from 'upstairs'? I would have to climb a ladder and perch on a rafter to take that kind of shot! I don't think I'm game to try that!
And I love the colour of your laundry cupboards - it makes it seem cozy and inviting!
Thank you for the invite to your open home - I enjoyed it!

Carrie, Where did you get your "Good to be home" picture? I love it and think it would make great gifts for my daughter and daughter-in-love. Is it something you made?
