Homemade Carpet Cleaner

Make a solution of 1/2 cup ammonia combined with 1/2 gallon of water. Use a rag to gently scrub the carpet. Repeat until clean. This may also be used in a carpet cleaner. Removes even the toughest spots. Test a hidden area first!

Thank you for this great cleaning tip. Sometimes the "old fashioned" solutions work as well or even better than modern store-bought ones. 'Will definitely try this one :)
