Over...You sure made me smile Carrie with this post. Over glorified Martha, yes I think I might be one of those at times, especially if we have people coming over! I am guessing that this list is very much tongue in cheek because the thought of instant potato makes me shudder and finding a muscular neighbour might be a problem seeing my nearest neighbour is a long walk and she is in her 70's! Our farmgirl prides herself on being able to open any jar so I am not allowing her to leave home anytime soon! So you apparently put bicarb soda in with your boiled eggs, makes them easier to peel and it works so my daughter tells me. I read once that Mary may have been the more organized homemaker who didn't worry like Martha did because she had prepared earlier and didn't need to fret at the last minute like Martha did. Not sure if this is the case but yesterday I had casserole in the slow cooker and was able to have a lovely teatime with Jesus (my Bible and Lifegiving Home study book) later in the afternoon when I am normally preparing dinner.<br />Hope you are settling into your new home. It looks so lovely and homely.Ann at eightacresofedenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15524581927752695509noreply@blogger.com
